DAY 01: London – Gretna Green – Glasgow
Begin your journey with a warm welcome from your Chakra Holidays tour manager at your pick-up point. Settle comfortably into your coach as we travel north into Scotland.
Our first stop is the romantic village of Gretna Green, renowned for its history of runaway weddings. Visit the Famous Blacksmiths Shop, a historic and picturesque venue with over 260 years of heritage. The site also features gift shops and cafés, perfect for a short break.
While here, you will have the option to explore the whisky heritage Scotland is known for. Guests can enjoy a whisky tasting experience (Optional) offering insights into how Scotch whisky is made and a sampling of different varieties.
We then continue to the vibrant city of Glasgow. On our panoramic city tour, you’ll see:
• Glasgow Cathedral – a medieval landmark and the oldest building in Glasgow
• George Square – the city’s central civic square
• University of Glasgow – one of the oldest universities in the UK
• And other notable sites
Enjoy a delicious Indian dinner before checking into your hotel.

DAY 02: Glasgow – Falkirk Wheel – The Kelpies – Edinburgh – Glasgow
After breakfast, enjoy a visit to the Falkirk Wheel, the world’s only rotating boat lift. Learn about this incredible engineering achievement and enjoy the surrounding landscape. Tickets to the boat ride on the Wheel are included.
Next, we head to The Kelpies at Helix Park – two awe-inspiring 100-ft tall horse-head sculptures that pay tribute to Scotland’s industrial past.
We then drive to Edinburgh, Scotland’s historic capital. Enjoy an orientation tour that covers:
• Princes Street
• Palace of Holyroodhouse
• Royal Mile
• St Giles’ Cathedral
You will also have the opportunity to visit Edinburgh Castle (optional), a historic fortress dominating the city skyline (entrance ticket not included).
Later, enjoy dinner at a specially selected restaurant before heading back to Glasgow.

DAY 03: Glasgow – Nevis Range – Commando Memorial – Glenfinnan Viaduct – Neptune’s Staircase – Glasgow
Today, after breakfast, we set out for a scenic Highland adventure. Begin your journey with stunning views as we travel north to Fort William.
Visit the Nevis Range, where you’ll take a cable car ride to experience panoramic views of Ben Nevis, the UK’s tallest peak (ticket included).
Next, stop at the Commando Memorial, a tribute to the elite WWII forces, followed by a visit to Glenfinnan, famous for its dramatic views and cinematic fame.
Here, take in:
• The Glenfinnan Viaduct – featured in the Harry Potter films
• The Glenfinnan Monument, commemorating the Jacobite uprising of 1745
We conclude the day at Neptune’s Staircase, a historic staircase lock system on the Caledonian Canal.
After a full day of sightseeing, return to Glasgow for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04: Glasgow – Lake District – London
After breakfast and check-out, we travel south into England’s stunning Lake District, a region renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and peaceful lakes.
We visit the charming area around Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake. Here, you’ll have time at leisure to enjoy optional activities such as:
• A scenic lake cruise
• A ride on a heritage steam train from Haverthwaite to Lakeside
These activities offer a unique way to experience the natural and cultural heritage of the region.
Later in the afternoon, we begin our return journey to London, where we bid farewell to new friends made along the way.
